Matthias Brinkmann made his first steps in the music business while being an active part of the local music scene in Münster, Germany, where he lived during his Communication Studies. Booking shows, working for a record store and playing in a Post-Rock-Band as well as setting up online-strategies for bands soon became his passion. After moving to Hamburg, he became Head Of New Media at FKP Scorpio, one of Europe’s biggest booking- and concert-agencies. He was responsible for the online- and Social Media-strategy of big festivals like Hurricane, Southside or Highfield and FKP’s tours and local shows. He then joined Believe Digital as Head Of Sales Promotion. He’s planning the Trade Marketing strategies for Believe Digital’s key releases. Also, being passionate about Social Media, he advises the partner labels in Social Media marketing.
