Bass payer Hervé Jeanne was born in Luxembourg in 1972. From age 7 he attended the Conservatoire in Luxembourg and entered the jazz section at 14, studying with Gast Waltzing and Rom Heck. Since 1991 he lives in the area of Hannover (Germany), where he completed his studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater. He also regularly travelled to New York in order to attend masterclasses by jazz legends like Ray Brown, Eddie Gomez and Dave Holland. Around the year 2003, he met singer Roger Cicero, for whom Hervé became the constant bass player until his death in March 2016. Hervé has also worked as a sideman for New York Voices, Bill Ramsey, Ack van Rooyen among others.  Besides his activities as a bass player, Hervé manages and works as a sound engineer in his own studio (D Room Recording Studio). He also works as a journalist for the magazine „Bass Professor“.
