All Day

This workshop aims to familiarize participating musicians with the two legal regimens that currently exist in the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg enabling artists to benefit from financial aid of a social nature in case of insufficient financial income or in times of involuntary inactivity, namely that of the independent professional artists and that of the intermittent entertainment workers.

A practical presentation and a summary by several representatives from the Ministry of Culture about the details of these two regimens as implemented by the modified law of 30th July 1999 concerning the independent professional artist status and the intermittent entertainment workers and about the conditions that need to be fulfilled in order to qualify will be followed by a Q&A session to help each musician in his/her orientation towards one of the two regimens.

The speakers at this workshop will be Claudine Hemmer, chargée de mission at the Ministry of Culture, responsible for the independent professional artist status and the intermittent entertainment workers department, Tammy Tangeten, rédactrice at the Ministry of Culture, responsible for all related applications within the aforementioned department and Anne Hoffmann, Attachée de Gouvernement at the Ministry of Culture, responsible for legal matters.
