Presented by the European Commission

Several European networks and initiatives co-funded by the EU have been created in the last years in order to support, promote and train emerging musicians and artists. During the presentation, we will explore the different networks, their mission and show when and how artists and their team can take advantage of the opportunities offered by these initiatives.

Excite is a collaborative project between nine partner organisations across Europe (BE, DE, DK, FI, LU, NO, NL, SE, UK). This innovative network leverages a dynamic mechanism to expedite the internationalisation of young artists and music businesses earlier in their careers/ development.

INES is a European cooperation project initiated by eight international showcase festivals and gigmit, the European digital platform for artist booking. The project includes a talent and professional exchange program as well as education & training offers for the music industry.

The Liveurope Platform enables concert venues to book more European bands and to collaborate internationally. Since the start of its activities, more than 2300 European concerts have benefited from the support of Liveurope in the 14 member venues of the platform. The platform provides funding and networking for the participating venues, with the objective of increasing the cross-border circulation of European music.

Multipistes is a network of several organisations and music structures of the Greater Region (LU, DE, FR, BE) which have teamed up to scout, support, inform, train and promote artists through a creative support programme including artist residencies, trainings, quality studio time and networking events.
